Why upgrade to Moodle 2?

Support for Moodle 1.9 will end in the summer of 2012, so security and bug fixes will cease to be developed for Moodle 1.9. In order to keep your Virtual Learning Environment up to date and secure you will need to eventually start to plan your move to Moodle 2.
